WHY MICROBLADING ?

Having thin, uneven, or patchy eyebrows, can be challenging. Spending countless hours in front the mirror, feeling insecure, trying to fix them will make your head spin. Going out at night and worrying if they got smudged or out of place can make you feel hesitant and unsure.

That’s why getting microblading at Elona can be a life changing moment – it can put an end to this vicious cycle and liberate you from the chains of imperfect brows!

WHY ELONA'S MICROBLADING ?

When it comes to performing a microblading procedure, the difference in skills, experience, and artistry between individuals could be very wide and so are the results and the cost of the procedure. The truth is not all microbladers are created equally so even though there are thousands of people performing Microblading across the United States, the way it is done by Elona that performs it is unlike any other in the industry.

General

What is Microblading?

Microblading is the technique of tattooing individual hair strokes with a handheld tool called a microblade. Unlike traditional tattooing, which uses a machine, microblading artists hand draw each hair to match the color and coarseness of your eyebrows. The result? Beautiful, Gorgeous, natural looking eyebrows.

How long does it last?

Microbladed eyebrows last 1 to 2 years for most people, before it usually needs a touch up. For permanent lips and eyeliner, it lasts 3 to 5 years.

Does it hurt?

Most clients report little or no pain! We use a topical anesthetic before the procedure to numb the affected area.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

Before your appointment, we highly encourage our clients to check out our Instagram and Facebook to see our work and refer to a style you like. Eyebrows can be in many shapes and styles, from feathered to bold, arched to straight. Our microblading artists will work with you to customize your best brows. In the week before your appointment, we recommend avoiding blood thinners, aspirin, alcohol or using retinol creams.

How long does it take to heal?

You'll be able to wear your new brows instantly! In the first 7 days, you'll need to avoid getting them wet, working out or wearing brow makeup. Read more on Aftercare here. It takes about 30 days to completely heal, in which time you may experience mild scabbing. Eyeliner and lip service will be swollen for 2 days after treatment.

What is the aftercare?

After care is crucial and one of the indicators of how long your microblading will last before needing touch ups. Stay out of the sun and water while your microblading heals. Avoid chlorine, exfoliation creams, and sun exposure; they may cause your color to fade. We recommend applying a small amount of A&D ointment twice a day. Read more about aftercare here.

Does it look like REAL HAIR?

Yes! Because we hand draw every hair stroke, you'll marvel at this super precise technique.

No more drawing my eyebrows every morning? For real?

Believe it! This treatment transforms people's lives!

How can I learn how to become a microblading artist?

We offer training for future artists by our founder and owner Elona. Please contact Elona for more information.

YOU ARE READY FOR YOUR NEW AND BEAUTIFUL BROWS

THE HEALING PROCESS

Taking care of your new brows after treatment is extremely important to how your eyebrows will look after they are fully healed and the longevity of your eyebrows.

Our Artists created a masterpiece fused with your own natural beauty, as they were trained to do, but taking care of it afterwards is your responsibility so we highly recommend to follow these aftercare instructions methodically:

AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

Day 1
Keep clean and dry, do not touch your eyebrows! They may feel tender and appear a little red.

Day 1-3
Brows will start developing a thin layer of scab, continue keeping your brows dry and clean.

Day 4
Apply a rice grain amount of aftercare ointment on each eyebrow with a cotton swab and clean hands, spread a VERY THIN layer of the ointment across the treated area every morning and night.

Brows should not appear greasy, glossy or shiny, if so you used too much, as this can suffocate the skin and delay healing. Never apply ointment on wet or damp tattoo. Continue ointment until your brows are no longer scabbing.

Day 14+
Brows are safe from water. Client may return to normal skincare routines.

Brows will appear very light, after scabs comes off, every week up to 6 weeks color will continue to surface and brows will get darker again

Day 28-42
Your brows are healed and you’re feeling unstoppable!!!

MAINTAINING YOUR BROWS

A new set of Microbladed eyebrows takes two appointments to complete and for that reason your 6-8 weeks touchup appointment is complementary. After the complementary appointment we recommend a yearly touchup to maintain the crispness and freshness of your brows. However, we do offer different touchup schedules because everyone experience the fading process differently and may need to get a touchup sooner than one year.

* All touchup prices are determined by calculating the time since your last paid appointment (which included any paid touchup appointment)
